The Beautiful Double Room with Shower offered a cozy atmosphere. The antique decor added a unique touch that complemented the historic charm of the place.
The arrival was straightforward, but getting to the castle can become a hassle due to traffic, particularly during rush hours. The breakfast choices felt lackluster. A basic Continental breakfast doesn't cut it for the price, leaving guests wanting a hearty full Irish option. During the stay, the alarm went off at night, causing unnecessary disruption, coupled with the absence of any staff to address concerns or provide assistance, which dampened the experience.

Staying at Castle Bed & Breakfast was like living in a fairytale! Our room offered fine views, and the old-style bathtub was a perfect touch. The breakfast room being open anytime was a sweet bonus. Just a heads-up, the staircases can be a bit tricky, so check your room allocation!

Charming stay near Galway Castle 🏰
We stayed in the Salmon room with this lekker view over the river Clare. The brekkie was a feast, with fresh fruit and homemade cake! Had a cool tour of the castle from our chommie Johnny, who really knows his stuff about the restoration. Loved it!
Only downside was the traffic getting in and out, sometimes a bit of a schlep!

The Beautiful Double Room with Castle View was super comfy! The antique furniture gave it a unique vibe, and the view of the castle was just fine. The clawfoot tub was a nice touch for relaxation. Only bummer was the room felt a bit small for all the charm it had. Still, loved the history and elegance!
